Amazing Bodhran Drumming!
Holy Moley! I've never really investigated Bodhran drum music that much, for various ego related reasons, but I just found this video and was astounded!! These guys are fantastic...

I taught myself to play the bodhran, and I love it as an accompaniment to almost anything
ReplyDeleteI was also fortunate to meet Glen Velez in person, and go to a couple of frame drum clinics he taught at Iowa "DAYS OF PERCUSSION" at Grinnell College a few years back....now my wife and I live in Batesville, Arkansas where she is the Director of Campus Life at Lyon College. I have formed an improvisational percussion trio called "Drum Stories" and we are performing locally...
